Remarks

College is very good, supportive, and provides a new learning system. Pre-placement training like aptitude and soft skills are well organized by the college. I think the Civil department is excellent to give practical knowledge and the faculty members are very helpful, they always motivate their students to learn new things. That's why I've preferred this college over others.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are very helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable. They give us the motivation to learn new things and explore and provide quality notes. They make students industry-ready. New learning techniques are used to teach. They support us in every situation. Faculty members take very much effort in the placement of students.

Course Fees: INR 2000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Pre-placement training like aptitude and soft skills are well organized by the college. JARO, PIN CLICK, BENTLY, ZENSAR, L&T Infotech, Infosys, etc are top recruiting companies. 50 to 60% of the students were placed. Faculty members take very much effort in the placement of students.

Campus Life

GANDHARVA is an annual fest held in January or in February every year. Library, reading room, laboratory, classroom, seminar hall, playground, guest lectures, and projects are included. More interactive events are organized for students, cultural events, games, etc.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning.
