Remarks

I know the name of the college already through my friends already pursuing a degree from nearby colleges in the area. I searched on google also and got a very positive and good response, I attended counseling before taking admitted to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because of choice not by chance, I'm already interested in it. Other than that all the staff members are well educated (master degree and some are Doctor's) and well known they help students at every point not only technical but non-technical also like sports and cultural events also all of them having very friendly nature.

Course Fees: INR 61281 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many opportunities offered by the college for off-campus and also in the campus internship programs. Also, various course-related internships are available on the campus itself.

Placement Experience

I'm in last year now so many companies are visiting a college in the current year and last year also they are offering us very good opportunities for internship and jobs. I take a part in many drives including stages like GD and interviews.

Fees structure is like follows: for year BE OPEN - 1,12,190/-, OBC/EBS/ESBC - 61,281/-, SC/VJ/NT - 10,372/-, SC - 190/- and J&K - 24,190/-.

Campus Life

The College campus is very green and clean and always bursting with students. INNOVATION is an annual event having many cultural, sports, and technical events which are organized by student associations.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
