JSPM'S RAJARSHI SHAHU COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING is one of the best Autonomous institute affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. RSCOE is awarded as pest professional College in SPPU. This college is well known for its academics excellence. A green campus with 24x7 wifi. Well equipped laboratories with an instrument like Drone, UTM, wind tunnel. Very good learning environment. This college is having professional chapters like ASCE, ICT, IGS, IPA etc. which will provide a platform to students for overall professional development in the world of engineering. This is an autonomous institute having industry oriented curriculum. Highly qualified and Supportive teaching staff. Placement in MNC like Tata Consultancy Services, zensat, Infosys, IBM, L&T, Unity Consultant, Godrej etc.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
