Remarks

Being a new kid in the city was tough for a bit to adjust but the campus is in the outskirts does has its own perks. It's been 3 years in this institution now and I feel like home here. I have had many experiences in this institution and everything has been in terms of building my profile.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to go for electrical engineering and this being one of the good colleges in the city offering an Electrical course was an enticement to me.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 10570 per year

Internships Opportunities

Whenever a company comes for final year placements some of them also hire interns from 3rd year who want to work in that particular firm by interviewing them.

Placement Experience

Campus placements are a highlight for this institution. The training and placement facility helps students identify their strengths and flourish them in their relevant skills and industries.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you don't wanna compromise in terms of good education quality then I'd suggest that you go forward with it, the fees here are affordable and many scholarships are availed by students.

This is one of the most important aspects while choosing a college for oneself. The lifestyle at the campus here is good, there are good neighbourhoods here. Various sports clubs are available for students to participate in and their co-curricular activities are taken care.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
