Remarks

The college is mainly focused on the bright future of students, that's what every student want and the facilities and faculties are great.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to learn about electric equipment and that's why I choose it. And faculties are great.

Course Fees: INR 10300 per year

Placement Experience

Too many companies come on the campus for hiring the graduates. I can't say huge opportunities but the rate is about 90 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

For open criteria fees is 1 lac 16 thousand near about. And if you belong from any other caste then fees are different. Job opportunities are huge in the campus interview.

Campus Life

Social life is quiet great, infrastructure is good and there are lots of enjoying and happily places around the campus.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life is too enjoyable as the hostel is on the campus only that the great thing. Registration starts from the admission date only it's like first come first serve.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
