Remarks

2nd autonomous college in Pune and 1st autonomous college in PCMC area. Well known for its placements drive also for academics with helping teacher staff and other facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is designed on the basis of industry need and each teacher has a vast experience in the field of 15 to 10 years, having PHD degrees with them. This made students easy in every field to understand the concepts.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, we all were given an internship from college to brush up our practical knowledge. For this, our staff and TnP cell worked very hard.

Placement Experience

The placements cell is the active one and every year almost 80% of students get placed in companies with a satisfactory package. Some students jobs from a foreign country too with a package of 30 lakhs per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The campus has fee of 61281 Rs for each year. The campus recruitment in this college is its major advantage, almost 90% of students in 3 rd got an industrial internship from the college to sharpen their practical knowledge for this the Tnp cell works very hard.

Campus Life

Every year there us tech fest conducted and a cultural program to help students go develop in an extracurricular activity. There is various club establish in college and student can join according to the part of interset such as Swaswath club., TEDx, toastmaster and many more.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
