Remarks

RSCOE is one of the best colleges in PCMC, Pune. As college has its transport service it is more convenient for travelling. Academically it is best with highly educated teachers with excellent teaching skills and the support and availability of teachers to students whenever needed. There are many companies which visit this college for placements. The college always think and work for the betterment of the students. The student from BEIT 2017-2021.

I was very passionate about this IT field so I choose this course. And now it is very interesting and fun because of the teachers. Teachers are awesome they make your concepts very clear with various interesting teaching techniques with which student enjoy learning. Most frequent tests are conducted for students for their academic growth in university exams.

For CS IT EnTC branch college provides Zensar ESD program in the third year of Engineering which is very effective and good.

Placement Experience

Placement starts from 5th SEM of Engineering. Companies like TCS, Capgemini and many more visitors. Huge no of students gets placed every year in nice companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of this college are Rs.1,12,190/- for open category. Other categories have different fee structure and some criteria. Bus transportation Fee is Rs 21,600/- which is common to all but taking this transportation facility is optional.

Campus Life

Every year in the month of January or February there is a grand college event "Innovision" which includes many technical games, events, food stalls, non-technical games, etc. It is fun to participate in these events. Studen gets their participation certificate also. There are exciting prizes for winners. The traditional day is also conducted which makes college traditional and colourful. Following this, there is a Gandharva event which is the Annual day, where students get to show their talents like dance, singing, drama, etc Award function is also conducted in this Gandharva event. There are many sports activities also conducted like badminton, cricket, chess, box cricket, throwball, etc Winners get appreciated in Gandharva event. Classes have all the required amenities like smartboard, projector, etc. The library has many books in various fields and also the academic-related reference books in huge number. Rotract club of our college is run by the students and many social activities are conducted.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
