Remarks

This college is best at academic. You can easily clear your all concepts regarding all subjects in college. The admission process is very easy. Reason for preferring this college is academic performance. I search on google and also on YouTube. Also, I asked to some students.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I am interested in the Electrical field I choose this course. In our department, there are good faculty members. All are well qualified and also teaching very well. Term exam was conducted on time and also it is not that much difficult to pass.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are lots of companies college is making bond for placement and internship. Companies provide a 1 or 2-month internship for students. It will be in stipend or without stipend.

Placement Experience

Students eligible for placement after third year second semester. There are many companies that come for placement especially TCS is major recruiters. As per now highest package gave was 18 lakhs per annum for a Computer student.

Fees and Financial Aid

For general fees are 112000. For me, as I am in VJ category I have to pay 12000 because there is a scholarship from the government which pay remaining fees for me. If someone's financial conditions are very poor he maybe gets a job in college on a stipend.

Campus Life

The campus is good. Name of the annual fest is GANDHARV. There is a library open for all. But there are fewer books for Electrical department not that much less. There is a social club called RSCOE ROTARY CLUB. Sports activities held once in a year and not much exposed to sports.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills.
