Remarks

The good aspects of our college are we are provided with good resource and the bad aspects is college area is short. The admission process was very fluent every student was assigned to a faculty to make the process easier for students.

This course has wide scope in future also this branch is a core branch. We have adequate faculty to guide students on their point of interest.

Companies like TCS, KPIT and many such companies visit our college every year to select students. My plan after getting a degree is to study further to gain a good insight into a particular domain.

Fees structure of the college is comparatively ok category wise fees are scheduled in this tenure of lockdown people are availed to pay fees in instalments.

Gandharva is the name of the annual fest it is held in the month of January. Adequate books are made available in the library. Classrooms are equipped with required amenities.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
