Remarks

I got a reference from 10 students and even this college got autonomy. All aspects are good. Reason for preferring this college is faculty are very cooperative and most of them completing their doctorate.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is totally based on industry. The curriculum of our department is designed by KPIT. Faculty have vast experience of teaching and most of them completed a PhD in their subjects. Faculties are very cooperative.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 113000 per year

Placement Experience

From third year itself students become eligible for campus placement. There is big percentage of getting placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is good and about scholarship is most of the student have their scholarship status.

Campus Life

In our college there are a lot of events but most interesting is Gandharva which is the non-technical event which is in month of Jan and also there is one most waited event innovision.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
