Remarks

The college has a reputed campus interview. I got the college thought online admission in 3rd round. The college contacted us regarding admission. One major problem is that public transport is not easily available.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have a business of electrical contracting so I choose the Electrical stream. Plus electrical branch is the core stream. Faculty are very good and monitor the attendance very carefully.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 113000 per year

Placement Experience

In 3rd-semester campus, interview occurs. Placement % is 60%. After getting a degree I will continue my business and will expand it.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike is not much. Cost to study is 113000 per annum. There are various school of ships available. plus you can work in school also to get some fee concession.

Campus Life

There is a fest for every branch. Fessa, Tessa, mecha, etc. There is a big library where all books are available. Classroom amenities are moderate. One will feel comfortable to sit in the class.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
