Remarks

This is one for the best college in Pcmc area. It has good campus placements. Well educated and friendly staff. Healthy competitions among students. So I chose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty here is well educated and friendly always ready to help students about their doubts. And also there are healthy competitions among the students here. Teachers motivate students to participate in different competitions in technical / non-technical.

Course Fees: INR 4 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies which provide internship like Zensar, which provides industry-based trainings to students. Others companies like Jaro education also visit the college.

Placement Experience

Placements are good at RSCOE. Companies giving avg package of 3.2 LPA to a max of 10-12 LPA visit this college. There are also some foreign opportunities for students. And also some foreign language classes like (Japanese, German) are taught to the interested students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for OPEN category students is also affordable. And if eligible there are also some scholarships for students.

Campus life is good. Every year there is a technical festival "INNOVISION" for the college students which has many competitions technical and non-technical for students which are arranged by senior students themselves. Also, there is "Gandharva" cultural festival. Where students show their different talents.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
