Remarks

The admission process was started and ended according to the dates given. The document list and admission process were explained very neatly and clearly to the parents and students. Sessions were organised to get a clear idea. Information is also is given on the phone.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to go for a BE course. Faculty is really kind and helpful. Every faculty is highly qualified and have a brief and deep knowledge of the subject. The teaching method is simple and understandable by each and every student. Exams are conducted almost every month and they are not so easy maintaining the difficulty level.

Placement Experience

From 6th sem students appear for placements. Different companies of various criteria come to college. The highest package provided is 14L per annum. For IT dept 100% of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is available for people who are applicable. For the open category, the fees are Rs1,12,190.

Campus Life

Every semester events are organised for students and by the students to showcase their talent. Books are available in the library and some skim are also provided to get books in a group. Rotaract club and toastmasters club is one of the active clubs.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
