Remarks

RSCOE is one of the best autonomous institutes in Pune. It is accredited by NAAC thrice with the highest cgpa of 3.26. Also ranked 103 by India Today. NBA has accredited our college with the band between 201 to 250. Electrical department of our college is the 2nd autonomous electrical department in the entire Pune region.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the college is industry centred and market-relevant as well. The faculties are highly qualified and totally approachable.

Placement Experience

From the 3rd year itself, students are eligible for internships. The main recruiters of our college are TCS, Zensar, KPIT, Capgemini, Bosch, etc. Almost 80% of the students get placed successfully with the highest packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee for a general category student is 1,13000(app Roz). But if one comes under category there are various scholarships too.

Campus Life

There's a culfest named as Gandharva and techfest named as Innovision conducted usually in the month of January. There's a huge common library with all kinds of technical and non-technical books. Classrooms are well-structured and high tech labs are provided. The sports event is also conducted. There are a lot of groups in our college like Robotics club, Drone club, coding club, etc.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
