Remarks

This is college is amongst the best colleges in Pune. Institute is very strict. The staff is quite good. Many of my friends had passed throughout this college, they suggested me to admit to this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this electrical engineering department due to this is the core subjects. I always have the interest to know about how this electric circuit works. All the faculty members are good at their performance. They are best at online teaching and offline teaching.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are in cast you will definitely get a scholarship from the government if you admitted with the merit parameter. All the scholarships are available for the college.

The library is having a large no. Of books and having a gige setting arrangements. There are so many groups like dronix team curiosity team Dhruv. However, college is having only one fest.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
