Remarks

The good reputation of college. It has good infrastructure, Supporting staff, Not any blog. The admission process is done through college and the faculty during process was very helpful to each other.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electrical Engineering is the future so I chose. In this dept, there are 60 - 70 students in each year with 12-14 faculty member. Qualification of faculty is high some of them are done with their PhD.

Course Fees: INR 112000 per year

Placement Experience

Sem-6 I.e 3rd year of 2sem. Many companies visit the college for placement drive. Highest offer was around 24 lakhs recently a boy got placed 80% of students gets placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of this institute are around 112000-113000. The college collaborates with foreign universities for higher education.

Campus Life

There is the biggest fest arranged very year which is Innovision which is a technical event along with Avhaan which is a non-technical event and a cultural event Gandharva.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
