Remarks

I attend college because college is the best college ever they take care of all the things related to education as well as extra activities. A regular college is going on lockdown also they take many efforts for the students. Also, the teacher as programming in lecture and prepare for placements. They also motivated us all the time.

Our faculty are very knowledgeable and Ph.D. faculty we have well qualified.

Placement 100% for the software actually and technical and non-technical companies are also their multinational company also come.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually fees are structure is as per caste so I m not satisfied with that because the open caste has 113000 fees and the SC caste has 190 rs only so this is the thing that is not satisfied with.

Campus Life

Actually, they only take lecture practicals but only three days we had events and the students are not happy with that because we don't have any enjoyment.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
