Very good college very good facilities. I choose this college because my college told me to take this college. The entire campus is too good.

Course Curriculum Overview

This is a 4-year course. I like engineering so much so I choose this course. The faculties are highly qualified professionals. There are many term exams are conducted including unit tests.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 11746 per year

Placement Experience

Very good tnp cell very supportive. There are many mock aptitude tests from the first year for the students. For the third-year and second-year students, there is a mock interview session.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is different for the different categories for the open category there are fees of 123000. For obc 63000. For tfws 11736.

Campus Life

4.5

Very good campus with lots of trees. Very nice campus. Very much free space is there for students huge canteen separate building for each department.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
