Remarks

I was been suggested this college by a few of my neighbours and friends. It's a great experience to have in your life in terms of academics as well as extracurricular activities. You can have the best of the faculty and the support you need to progress in your life. You can have great friends on the campus in terms of students as well as the faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because it is a field which I think is great to work on and to learn new things. There is sufficient faculty available whenever you need any sort of help. They help you with your problems and also guide you through the right path until you achieve success in your career and life.

Yes, there are various internship programs provided with the help of faculty and College which help you in providing a great experience of the industrial work and environment.

Placement Experience

There is a great opportunity of campus selection for the students and also various internship is also provided by the third year of your engineering life. There are a number of companies which visit the campus for selection like TCS and many other major companies.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
