Remarks

My seniors were got admitted in this college so l knew about it from them. The facilities of college and all. The main thing is that ragging is totally prohibited in the entire campus. Teaching is very well so I choose this college.

Honestly, I choose this stream because I heard that information technology and computer have high rate of placement and I was much interested in the Computer so I choose this stream. Faculties are highly educated. So exams are carried out regularly.

Talentio company internship provided by the college. And face prep 360 is also provided by the college. Other abroad internships are also offered by the college.

From starting of 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Xoriant, Capgemini, Mahindra some Japanese companies etc visit our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of college at your time i.e. 109000 but now our college is autonomous so fees are also high. We have scholarships like panjabrao scholarship, EBC etc.

Campus Life

Gandharv, Innovision this are state-level programs carried out in college. There is availability of library 8 to 6 pm. And every department has its own clubs like our department has a coding club, Android etc.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
