Nothing is perfect in the world. But for me. my college has fulfilled more or less all the dreams I have ever dreamt of college life. I would highly recommend the newcomers to look forward to this college.

Yes. The curriculum is groomed to provide industry-specific knowledge to the students. And it is really helpful in securing on-campus placements as well as off-campus placements. Every year renowned companies visits the campus and offer jobs to the eligible students.

There are a lot of companies visit the campus every year like TCS, Infotech, CTS etc. Every company has different steps of recruiting candidates like written exam or interview or sometimes both. Around 85-90% students is placed every year from my campus. The institution takes strong steps to prepare for the placement season. There is a 2 month of certain classes are scheduled in every year of the course. There we learn how to present myself in the interview. how to give answer to such questions etc. And the classes are mandatory to all.

Many technical workshops takes place in the college throughout the year. Cultural festival is the most popular one. Renowned Bands come here for performing. We all enjoy a lot. There is football, cricket, Badminton, Volleyball tournament among the courses of our B. Tech students. Most of the festivals take place with the funding of the university specially all technical events.

My college is totally Government funded. So, there is no question of any additional fees to secure admission in my college. Some amount of semester fees is all that we have to pay. The amount of the fees is truly affordable to any occupational parents. Though the minimum fees we have to pay. but there is also transparency in the fee-breakdown.

The college offers scholarship for the research scholars. This scholarship is mainly given to the PG students. As I am a UG student. I have not that much knowledge in that area.

The campus life here is just awesome. The ratio of male students is more here. Our student parties are very much existing. We celebrate our every classmate's birthday with a grand gesture. There is a student union in our college but it is not connected with any dirty politics. It is just for our welfare. There is no sign of ethnicity, religion bitterness in the campus. All students (Boys and Girls) is very much friendly to each other and competitive in their studies. Economical status is not even a issue.

Yes. I live in the renowned Carmichael Hostel of the University of Calcutta. This is the best hostel in the whole Kolkata. It has a very friendly atmosphere, a good place to shine our dreams. The bedding, fooding is top-rated.

The alumni and the senior students are truly helpfull. The seniors help the juniors in various ways. Every year a reunion takes place where all alumni comes. and interact with the current students. They give their valuable insight in every way possible.

I am interested in computers. So, I chose to complete a B. Tech degree in IT. First there was WBJEE exam. after qualifying. through counselling. I got chance in my college at 2nd counselling of WBJEE exam. Then I came to the college for admission with a admission fees of 5000 rs only.

My college has very good, supportive, well-caring faculties. There is around 60 lectures per subject of the course through out a semester. The faculties always help the students in and out of the class. Noone is ever harrassed by any of the faculty members in the classroom. The lectures they give is very informative and also relevant to industrial point of view.
