My College Review

Overall 1 can rate 7 out of 10. The location is good. It is beside highway so no traffic are there and also close from station. There are many shops near college. Faculties are good. Transport are available all time.

i selected Electronics and communication engineering. apart from the course there was various grooming classes in college. they groom for better spoken english, interview, personality improvement. in every semester there was 2 exams before final exam.

Minimum 5 companies come here with 1 or 2 MNCs in 2014 7 companies came and offerd job of minimum package of 3 laks per annum.

Freshers party, teachers day, saraswati puja and biswakarma puja as the college is in west bengal. college festival. this are common events like every college. apart from this some social services like blood donation held here every year. technical events like robotics championship held here. Students selected from various corner of the state in the events take parts in national event held in IIT.

Fees structure is feasible here. 40k per semester. you can pay by post dated cheque or cash in college fees department. for uniform there is a charge in 1st year but only one time. they provide 2 sets of it with a tie and blezer. after that only registration and exam fees. if you took bus facility then you have to pay for this. but it is very low cost.

No I dont avail any loan. but this college has tie up with punjab and sindh bank and has one branch in college. So it make easy to take loan from the bank.

There are 50/50 girls boys ratio. The college ground is very big and sports like football cricket played here. every year tournaments held between students of every year. big workshop with various machine and skilled teachers. this college is not related to any political influence of the local parties.

College has 3 hostels. 2 for boys 1 for girls. the charge is 48k per year. girls hostel is little far from college but in good place. near station, hospital and main market. boys hostels is behind the college. but every facilities are there.

There is a facebook group of the college. you can follow the group to know about the seniors and there experience. they post in the group about their job or any job oportunities. seniors help a lot to get job.

I gave West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. I got rank around 21k. then I attempted counselling and choose this college. the college representative exlplain the location and other infornation of the college. this college has its office in cit more near sealdah station. the complete process done in the office including hostel.

Some faculties are really awesome. they have good knowledge of both theory and prctical. The way they communicate with students is very good. other hand some are not good at all. many guest lecturer come here for weekly classes. Some teachers also teach after the class if you have some problem in subject.
