Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is according to the GGSIPU. 5 theroy subjects and 3 practicals in first 4 semesters. Last two semesters have 4 theory subjects and 3 practical exams where every sem has one presentation subject. There is also one subject each of commerce and management side in each semester so that students are also aware of the professional things needed for jobs.
Placement Experience
Deloitte, SAP labs, ZS associates, Mahindra comviva, infosys, Capgemini, daffodils, tcs are some big names, more than 95 percent students who opt for placements are placed.
College Events
Genesis: annual cultural fest( organised by MSI) Avenesis: annual tech fest ( Organised by MSIt) Enva: annual fest organised by environmental society Each fest is very enjoyable. But each of the fests are intra college not inter college. Students of other colleges can't participate in the college fests.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's quite feasible seeing other private colleges. The college provide transparency in fees breakdown. No additional fees is charged until late submission. Mode of payments is DD or by online payment methods like net banking, credit/debit cards which I think is very flexible.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes their were scholarship for student under EWS scheme, but I didn't avail it. Students coming under this scheme availed it by filling a form.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is 60:40 in my college comprising all courses. In my course it is 80:20, BBA its 50:50, Bcom it's 60:40. For B.ed it is 10:90. There are proper farewell organisee along with the fresehrs party. There are various societies as well like music, arts, dance, drama, gaming, literary. There is not even a hint of racism on basis of cast, creed, color and religion
Hostel Facilities
Yes, double and single occupants rooms, 3 floors having approx 30 rooms in each floor, with one watercooler on each floor. There are no acs or coolers pre-installed. There are two beds, two chairs, two tables and two almirahs in each room.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, they are very helpful and reachable. Always ready to help, they also come to college to give an alumni lecture as well about there fields of work and opportunities later in future.
Admission
University level entrance examination, good reputation, good placement, excellent exposure. Being in delhi, and one of the top 3 University affiliated college of IPU, It was a no brainer to chose MSI. I chose this course as I have interest in computer science
Faculty
Faculty is quite learned and experienced. Most of them are PhD holders, with masters degree. They are also certified and many of them are part of various research papers and book writing groups. They can also be reached out to get some help for personal issues as well.
