About the college infrastructure

Overall the institution is a good place for academic purposes.

The course curriculum is one of the most efficient and effective in the sense of time and understandability of the course. The exam structure is proper and well timed and in between proper intervals. It is research driven and fair in all manners. It helps in motivating me to become more productive and to take calculated risks.

The placement in the college has not been the most productive. The amount of placed students have been falling since the past 3 years. But still, those who get the placement are being posted in to well known companies. The number of internships are lesser than I would have liked. The tentative percentage of students that are being placed from the college are less than 50.

The events that are being held in the college are not of the national level. The technnical fests usually include an interactive session with a renowned organizational leader or an independent entrepreneur. The cultural fests are conducted yearly and provide a platform for the talents of the students.

The fee structure of the institution is the most feasible out of the other colleges in the prefecture. The fee for my current course is 25000 per annum. The mode of payments are offline or online. There were no additional fees or any type of extra charges for the admissions in the college. They provide a transparent system of fee breakdown.

I opted for a scholarship in the institution. The college offered more than one scholarships. The scholarship for which I opted was for the financially backward classes and all the procedure for the scholarship was done by the institution itself.

Campus life is not as lively as it should be. The gender ratio is about 1:1. Diversity is a stronghold of the institution as it accomodates all races and all classes of students without any discrimination. Labs are very good in the institution. There are occasional debates and the sports in the institution is not very well managed.

The seniors and alumni are very friendly and helpful any situation. They are not in any way disturbing or bothersome to anyone. All the experience that I had with my seniors were pleasant and happy.

I got into the college through entrance exam such as KEAM. I opted for this course as I was interested in engineering from childhood. I chose this institution because of it's affordable courses and a wide variety of courses offered by the institution.

The faculty in my college is very experienced and are well educated for the respective fields they are concerned with. They are considerate about the students and take appropriate actions for the steady and stable growth of the students. Most of the faculty have PhD's and are pursuing thir own research.
