Remarks

Overall memorable and well spent 4 years of life. I would suggest If anyone wish to join the college plz do it if you don't have any better option.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As i mentioned I was in the B.tech electrical department of the college. It is a 4 year degree with technical knowledge of all the equipments as well as their working were taught. In the last yearof degree that is 2016 we were supposed to be working on a thesis which should be your own. One can get the help of professors it they want. Me and 2 of my classmates were working on solar related project. It was really good 4 year that I've spent in the college. It transformed me to be a better version of myself for example it taught me to be humble, to be together, and true to your loyal ones.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement of the college was actually quite good when we compare to other institutions of same cadre. A lot of Indian as well as international companies viz. L&T, Amazon,Google,Adobe,Practo, Snider, Ashok Leyland, BHEL etc.

College Events

4

Lot of technical and cultural festivals were celebrated in the college. In some of them other colleges also participated apart from the local students. To name some of them one of the biggest technical fest was called "Techspardha". And if we talk about cultural fest it was "Confluence". Apart from them a lot of other fest were organised from time to time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When i was in college around 25000/-? per semester was the tution fees. But at present I think it is quite on the higher side of scale even after being an institute of national importance. Hostel fees during that time was not much and you have to pay for mess fee separately per month. Other than that there was no such extra hidden fee were charged from students.

Fees and Financial Aid

As the college is from govt of India all the central government schemes and scholarship were applicable in the college. However I did not avail any scholarships as mostly the criteria was category based and as I'm from general category they were not meant for students like me.

Campus Life

4

Campus Life is really good. You will get Clean and sophisticated environment as kurukshetra is a small town and institute is situated on the outskirts of the town.Gender ratio of the college is not quite good though. It stands somewhere at 10:3.May be it is because of the state or any other reason

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes. In first year they will allot you a room with 4 people occupancy. From the second year onward you will be shifted to other hostel and then you will be allotted a separate room with shared balcony with another student.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors during the college life were quite helpful as well as supportive whenever you need anything.on the other hand we also got to know alumni students of the college from time to time when they visit to the college.

Admission

Back then the selection process for entrance in the college was through entrance exam called AIEEE in 2012. It was the last year in which this exam was conducted, after 2012 JEE Mains and Advanced were conducted. To be honest it was quite difficult to clear the exam in those days but with a bit of luck and some hard work I cleared the exam in i think April month of 2012. And the admission date of the college was 17th July 2012. As a selection process my top priority was MNIT jaipur as I belong to rajasthan but because kurukshetra is also not far away like any other institutions of South India I opt for this with Branch Electrical engineering.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty of the college was quite experienced in their areas of speciality and as well as some newly recruited staff was also there. From them we learnt their journey to become a professor apart from all the technical aspects. Professors were quite humble and supportive, except one or two.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I am very fond of computers and mobile devices since my childhood and want to learn the work behind these smart gadgets. Overall faculty students ratio is good it is approximately 1:40. Most of the teachers are M.tech qualified from prestigious universities like Jamia and Aligarh and some PhD holders as well. As far as teaching is concerned, the overall methodology is good and don't expect some game changing scenarios. Most of the time, term exams happen in timely manner. Due to covid there was some sort of irregularities but now it is all good right now. Passing exams is not that much challenging if you have basic understanding of concepts and ability to apply them. Most of questions comes from previous year papers.
