Remarks

The college was overall a fun experience. The teachers are good and helpful atleast most of them. Few teachers are strict. overall the college is really good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is really good as it covers a lot of topics in accounts including financial, cost and managerial accounting. It also includes a lot of topics in finance. Industrial visits were organised by the college every year to increase the knowledge in the subjects. The placements were not very helpful as only few of the said companies came for on campus placements

Placement Experience

1.5

The placements of the college was one of the best in rhe previous years but as of our year the placements were not very satisfactory. Very few companies came for internships like Morgan Stanley and catking etc. Training sessions to get through interviews and placements were conducted to help the students.

College Events

4

There were many events conducted in the college. 1.mosiac 2. Baf fest. 3. Utkarsh 4. Intunes 5.jhankar Many other small events were organised during the time of Christmas where everyone would gather in the main hall for a bit of fun sessions. Many events were organised by the students for everyone to participate

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of the program was around rs.18000 every year for every year of the graduation. The college accepted cheques in the name of the college or a demand draftsm The college also charges extra fees incase the student has opted for any extra courses of for subjects like French or IT.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offered few scholarship opportunities for students who were extremely bright in their studies and excelled in subjects. The college had no option for an education loan. No scholarship was opted by me.

Campus Life

3

The campus life of this college is really good. The students coming to this college are really good and friendly. The gender ratio in this college is pretty fair having about 50% of both genders.there are labs for the computer lectures and there is a big ground for the sports competition. The college also has a basketball court and a volleyball court. The college has a sport room for table tennis, chess and carrom. The college also has a small gym for students. There are many parties organised by the students and there a lot of events for the students to participate in which are exciting.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The college does not have facility for hostel as most of the students coming were from mumbai itself and they used to travel from their homes. Few students from outside mumbai did attend the college too and they made arrangements for their own accomodation.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students of the college are really helpful and friendly. They are willing to help other students to get information regarding the campus and process to get admission.

Admission

I opted for this course because I have a lot of interest in finance field and want to get deep knowledge about the finance field. I chose this institution because it is close by and also it is one of the renowned colleeges in mumbai. 1.Apply through government website 2. Get listed on the list 3. Pay the admission fees 4. Obtain admission

Faculty

3.5

The teachers in the college were qualified and well versed in their knowledge about the subject. The professor for finance subject was one of the best as he gave a lot of extra knowledge over the textbook details. the knowledge he gave us helped a lot of students for their further studies and also in their careers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very good on paper. University has given like 8 subjects from which we have to choose 5. But this college itself chooses 5 subjects and students now have to learn only them ... Like in 3rd year sem 5 there was subject international finance I wanted to study that because baf course is all about finance but the college had subject management. So yeah be prepared for this. My colleges reputation is not that great because other city students come too. So for about teaching it's average

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is recommended for the students who want to pursue a career in the finance field or if someone who is looking to a course like CFA, this bachelors degree becomes handy. This course teaches you about the financial spectrum of the whole world and gives you an intricate understanding about different financial instruments and their relevance in the society. It teaches one of the most sought after skills in today's world, that is financial literacy. Still I think some of the subjects introduced under the NEP are completely irrelevant such as EVS and IKS. We as college students need to give quality time on some professional subjects, not that these subjects are not important but they need to be emphasised in the early classes. There are three internal exams of 10 marks each and 20 minutes for each paper. The end sem exam is of 30 marks for minor subjects and 60 marks for major subjects. Also I feel that the difficulty level is okay.
