Remarks

The college have to provide Mini services for the students in terms of Arts technical fest cultural fest and sports. The college should provide more freedom for students to explore the college and its places full stop the college is so strict that it should be strict in a mild way. The college should conduct many more campus interviews and selection process. The college should also be a part of these selection process.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Courses are better when compared to the near by colleges. Better staffs provided for ease of learning. Exams are done regularly according to the university time allotted for the exams. Its a fair institution regarding the coaching. When coming to curriculum the institution is a bit backward due to its lack of facilities for arts sports and tech related festive. Industrial visits are organized according to the time slotted by the university. The coaching helps in securing campus selection but on behalf of the students it seems to be a bit lack of enjoyment in college life.

Placement Experience

3

Companies like TCS, infosys, UST Golbal have made many opportunities to the students for placements. Also many of the local companies (startup) has also approached for campus interview. The campus doesn't makes any initiative for campus selection. But the department does a lot for campus selection. The general way of selecting is according to the skill and caliber of a student. Aptitude testing is the main way of measuring the intelligence of a student. Testing the skills like problem solving and initiating works are the next. Then comes to way of speech(fluency and knowledge about the language ). About 50% above students are qualified in these tests.

College Events

2

The main events celebrated are arts, sports, technical fests. Cultural fest and management fests are not conducted by the college. Every fest conducted are intra college. No other college can participate in the events. Only students within the college are permitted to participate and conduct the program.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are many merit seats for the college. But the students who are in management and NRI seats are suffering due to the fees structure. Every students with intension for being an engineer could not be done because they will not be able to handle the fee structure. it varies according to the marks from 10000 to lacks are demanded. No the college is not transparent in fees structure. Many fees including insurance are hidden cost in the fees structure. Arts and sports should be done by the management but those fares are burdened over the students. Some more amounts are being charged for admission without transparency of fees structure. Online payments and payment through cash is possible somehow.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have applied for many scholarships but every scholarships where rejected due to some reasons. The college offers many scholarships like entrance. These are helpful for students who comes from non stable backgrounds. Scholarship provides a full fee refund and even non fee entrance. Only they have to pay for extra facilities like hostels etc.

Campus Life

2.5

The campus life is very chilling. Every branches have different gender ratios. There is almost 50 by 50 gender ratio extra curricular means like sports activities and arts and Technical fest are being conducted by the college there are many programs like NSS and many other social activities. College gives more importance for admission to Hindu. There are many student political parties in the campus. The college also conducts some extra curriculum like robotics and other personal development classes. This provides students with more amount of knowledge and good personality development. The NSS had done any social works to the society as part of curriculum.

Hostel Facilities

2

No I am a day schooler. I usually go to college with my bike. my friends are in hostel. With the knowledge I have, they shares rooms in hostel. Hostels is good and clean. They are mostly concerned of the hostel food. Food is not healthey. There were many problems regarding the food and many of the canteen runners are swapped. Even though there is no change in the problem.

Alumni/Alumna

The college seniors had done many helpful works for the juniors like helping in projects and many other services. They have helped in the studies and clearing all the supplementary exams. The alumini has also done many contributions to the college in money and projects.

Admission

I loved the course very much. I was transfered from old college because the college was closed due to some reasons. The nearest and almost a good college. Better staffs for the course. procedure:-contacted the office for admission. Checked for available seats. Confirmed the admission. Discussed the fee structure. Agreed and signed the form.

Faculty

4.5

There are almost 10 to 15 staffs for our course. all are about 35 to 50 in age with experienced qualifications. Some of them holds university ranks and certifications in some sort of industries. If there is a doubt regarding a portion for a student, the teachers would help them individually even if they are not in physical contact(through phone call).

Apart from ISRO many campanies like Texas Instruments, UTS, Mercedez , also come here for recruuitment. Many also opt for M.tech and MBA after graduation

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.
