Remarks

My college has many negatives and positives. Functions and events are very less and in a small way and the management gives more importance to academics. Some of the positives are fee reduction scholarships.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is some what good. They are affiliated to KTU (Abdul Kalam Technological University ) also known as Kerala Technological University. The course is a total of four years and it contains 8 semesters.

Placement Experience

2

Our college do provide placements but the number of placement seats available are less and the companies that have placement tie ups are not big companies.Internships are not provided at our college, we have to go to other institutions for internship.

College Events

1

Arts day and onam celebration is the only programme that is celebrated in our college.oru college doesnot have a college day function and we are not allowed to celebrate freshers day to welcome our juniors.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not really expensive when compared with other colleges. The management provides fee discounts for students with low financial backgrounds and for brillient students.Fees for the students varies according to the department they choose.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facilities from different banks for education purposes are availed from the campus. The college management also provides various scholarships to the students including full fee reduction and half fee reductions

Campus Life

4.5

Extracurricular activities are not well supported in our college, the management gives more importance to academics.sports activities and practises are only given after the class timings.Sports day is conducted every year, but the participation rate of students is very low.

Hostel Facilities

2

I have not opted hostel for a few months. The hostel infrastucture is very good.It is a multistoried bulding with very clean toilets an bathrooms. The food from the hostel canteen is not up to the expectations.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes.Oru seniors had implemented many good projects ,which are usefull to the society. Our senior students of the electrical and electronics department had full y wired some new houses of the poor people who are living in the locality nearer to the college.

Admission

I got admission in management seat.I had 84.5% marks and i was from a financially backward family ,so the college management had offered less fee payment option for me.After the merit list was also published, i also had name in that list. But i wished to continue in the management seat.NRI seats are also available at the college.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties of the college are good and well experienced. They are also willing to take extra classes and special coachings at night to make us pass in the exams. The faculties are very friendly and dedicated.

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
