Remarks

Nothing as of now. Good work by management. Helpful in times with interaction by students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum was well structured and preorganized. Exam structure also was pre decided based on new means. It was a fair structure and it helped students keep up with the ongoing curriculum. Constant feedbacks were also appreciated by faculty. Each year inputs were given to HODs regarding the course outcome and importance. Industrial visits were also done time to time based on course content and importance of them. Online courses were also provided to boost extra curriculum skills. It helped placement sessions alot and in getting placed.

Placement Experience

3

Placements were decent every year based on companies visiting each year. We had good placement during our time. Mandatory internships were needed to graduate with atleast 28 days of training. Most of the companies needed to clear Online Test and then Group discussion and then HR round. Many well reputed companies like Accenture, Oracle, Microsoft, Delloitte, HP, MyGate, Byjus, Jaros, Vedanta, Reliance, etc. Would visit.

College Events

3.5

Every year 2 technical events would be celebrated as fest in our college. It would last a week during which we get to participate in varoius events, volunteer, organize and manage also. Based on your qualification and skills you can join any event as organizer and manage it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are various scholarships provided to merit students and to financially poor students. General fees for non-NRI students would be around 12-16 lakhs package. And for NRI students around 35-40 lakhs. No any means of management seats will be appreciated by the college. You can also pay in EMIs also.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't opt for any scholarships as I was not eligible. There were many scholarships at that time for poor needy students and it would vary each year based on board decision and govt rules.

Campus Life

4.5

There were many clubs students could join and there would be no discrimination whatsoever. Very friendly management and helpful. No intolerance will be appreciated here, everyone helps everyone. You are free to join any event or club or house with no consequences.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I took a PG room nearby college which was good, bit cheap, good place overall. Room rent per month would be 8000 without food. You can opt for mess food nearby. It would be cheaper than hostel and more better.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumnis are very helpful. We have our own network where we share our research and connections. All help each other with research work and contribute to work done.

Admission

I wrote their official entrance exam MU-OET and got good rank in it. You will receive the result of your exam 2 week after the last exam is conducted. You can then attend the counselling dates and wait for your desired course based on your rank. I choose Chemical Engineer as it was in high demand at the time and had good scope. Manipal was one of the few colleges where this course was available and had good placement records. There are various scholarships available for needy students, contact their official site for further details. I'm completely satisfied with the course and its content.

Faculty

4.5

In a class we'd have around 50 students and proper attention would be given to each one as student counsellor. Faculty lecturers would be experienced ones with atleast 10-13 yrs of experience in subject matter and almost all did Masters and Ph. D. All lecturers would be average age of 30-40 yrs with HOD having immense experience in the subject.

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.
