Remarks
Chandigarh University has one of the best infrastructure and staff. Even the non-teaching staff. When I first came to Chandigarh University, the staff and authorities were very very nice. They sent a car for me especially to drop me in front of my department. People were very humble and helpful. The admission process is easy and smooth. In most of the universities, it is very difficult to submit fees and all, but here, you have the option of both online and offline.
Course Curriculum Overview
I studied a master's degree in psychology from Chandigarh University. The faculty is very supportive, well qualified, and has excellent teaching skills. There are some minimum criteria you have to qualify. Like MSTs and there is a surprise test that is compulsory and assignments that have to be submitted on time. The exams are according to whatever is done in class. We'll, the difficulty level doesn't seem to be high because the education in class is very good.
Internships Opportunities
There are 2 compulsory internships provided both in the clinical and organizational sector. One is compulsory for 1 month and the next for 2 months. Extra scores were given for the internship.
Placement Experience
Psychology is relatively a field where a lot of clinical job opportunities available. However, a lot of companies come to Chandigarh University for higher organizational psychology students.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I already told, the fee is 25K per semester including all costs. The college also provides a bus facility that costs around 35k a year. There is a scholarship that is provided. You just have to clear a test.
Campus Life
Oh, the campus life is fun. There are a lot of fun events all year long. There is tashan night, in which many famous musicians, actors come for entertainment. There are Ted Talks organized, spiritual talks are organized, the anti-drug campaign is there. The crowd of different countries forms the student league of Chandigarh University. The hostels are comfortable and well equipped.
