The admission process at Manipal University was quite simple. I had initially applied to two Universities, one being Manipal and the other, Bennet University, Noida. I got call-backs from both and got selected too. Unfortunately, Bennet University called its students in right away and I was not in a situation to pack and leave home quickly enough. At Manipal, the criteria for admission are pretty easy, all you need are your basic documents, and the minimum mark required for BA Media and Communication is a Grade C. Apart from the document submission, I had to also submit a statement of purpose. And once that was approved, I had a phone interview where they asked about my interests, whether I am inclined towards any sports or arts, why I chose the field of communication, and what I was aspiring to become. I got some good reviews from the internet (review websites like Shiksha.com, CollegeDunia, Collegedekho etc.), local neighbours and from YouTube channel like MTTN, MIT Post, TMJ etc and the college's official YouTube channel. I liked the course provided by this college. The subjects are different for every semester and the aura is splendid. This college provides a very good faculty which not only is good at keeping up with academics, but also is great in keeping a good rapport with their students.
