The eligibility for the course was min 60% in 12th-grade board exams. The application form along with the application fees and date were mentioned on the course website itself. During my admission process, I only had to go through an entrance exam which was about 3 hours long. I do not remember the cut-off for the college exactly. I think since 2020, a personal interview stage also has been added to the admission process which takes place after the entrance exam (if you make the cut-off list)....Read More

The admission process at Manipal University was quite simple. I had initially applied to two Universities, one being Manipal and the other, Bennet University, Noida. I got call-backs from both and got selected too. Unfortunately, Bennet University called its students in right away and I was not in a situation to pack and leave home quickly enough. At Manipal, the criteria for admission are pretty easy, all you need are your basic documents, and the minimum mark required for BA Media and Communication is a Grade C. Apart from the document submission, I had to also submit a statement of purpose. And once that was approved, I had a phone interview where they asked about my interests, whether I am inclined towards any sports or arts, why I chose the field of communication, and what I was aspiring to become. MIC is one the best place if not the best for a student to live. I got some good reviews from the internet (review websites like Shiksha.com, CollegeDunia, Collegedekho etc.), local neighbours and from YouTube channel like MTTN, MIT Post, TMJ etc and the college's official YouTube channel. The admission process & dates. The admission process is an entrance test named Manipal Online Entrance Test (MET). The application fee: 2000 Rs. Media and Communication was a course which has a vast approach in the field of Media. The course I opted for had subjects like Journalism (in all the fields like broadcast, newspaper, radio) RJ in Radio, Filmmaking, PR and Marketing, Foreign Languages and on the last year final semester students were supposed to take up a specialisation course according to their choice. It seemed to be interesting and it would help me channalise my thoughts about my future after 3 years of graduation. For me, apart from this, the place played a huge role while selecting the college.
