Remarks

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is a reputed university in the college circuits and MIC in particular is ranked one of the top 5 media colleges India. MIC offers a variety of different specializations for students wanting to go onto varying sectors of the Media industry and this was one of the main attractions for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very in line with the current requirements of the Industry. I can only speak for my specialization here, but the faculty that I have been taught by are all extremely dilligent and willing to go the extra mile for the sake of the class. However all specializations might not be the same.

Placement Experience

The alumni network at Manipal Institute of Communication is quite solid. We do get a bunch of internship opportunities & placement opportunities based on alumni recommendations. However I can't say much about this as I do not have first hand experience since my batch hasnt had the opportunity to sit for placements yet.

College Events

This depends completely on what you define as a good campus life. Manipal is a laid back town, so if you like the constant activity of the city you might not feel so good hear. But at some point ths slow pace of the town draws you in. However, MIC is not the best place for extracurriculars. Student intereated in sports will get better opportunities than those interested in arts though.

Campus Life

The college is endowed with a well equipped library, 3 differet labs, Radio production station and a video production lab. Further students under MAHE also get free access to a host of online courses from across the globe that is extremely useful.

My MBA journey through CMR Institute of Technology

Placement Experience:

In 3rd semester is when you will be eligible for placements or internships. Therr are different companies that take initiative to come for hiring and for MBA the highest pacage was 9LPA which keeps increasing every year and the college also put alot of effort to make sure all the students gets placements. And the average package is 6 to 7 LPA and there are alomst 75% of students who get placements on how well you perform and they will also give you various training tha are given to every student which helps then in interviews and to get placed and ther is TYL program which is Tie you laces that comes with aptitude and verbal training which is important for and placements or job. And my plan is to get a good job in the most reputable company

My Real Experience as a First Year DSAI Student at IIIT Dharwad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice

Though i needed cse with cybersecurity but i didnt get it so i went with Robotics and ai. In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year

Best college for good placement of students

Placement Experience:

When a batch reached in the final year so that will become eligible for the placement means companies start the providing offer to the students. But some students interested in govt. Job and some in private job. My passion is gaining computer knowledge but goal is getting government job so I ignored the private placement by this campus.

My college experience

MIC is one the best place if not the best for a student to live. I got some good reviews from the internet (review websites like Shiksha.com, CollegeDunia, Collegedekho etc.), local neighbours and from YouTube channel like MTTN, MIT Post, TMJ etc and the college's official YouTube channel. The admission process & dates. The admission process is an entrance test named Manipal Online Entrance Test (MET). The application fee: 2000 Rs.
