It is one of the best campus facilities in Navi Mumbai and an amazing energy.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is on the same lines as the mumbai University, the curriculum is obviously relevant to my professional capacity, but it's not as research driven as it should be for today's world.there are Industrial visits organised for studentsand this helps them have a bit of a perspective.
Placement Experience
The placement drives for certain courses are extremely good in the college, but specifically to biotechnology there is no placement drive as such a few companies came in, but they were not companies that students would choose.
College Events
The biggest celebration in Navi Mumbai takes place here, Alegria -the festival of joy, it an annual event and extremely popular among students from all colleges across Mumbai. The event includes everything a student can ask for from competitions to pure entertainment.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fess structure is extremely feasible if you are obtaining your admission through the merit list, mode of payment can be cash or cheque, there are no additional fees to be payed, the fee breakfown will be provided by the college and is very transparent.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I didn't opt for any scholarship or loan.there were many who availed loans and I think it was easy for them to avail these.
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing owing to the great infrastructure in place, there is a week for an anual event which is a huge event in terms of students and celebretion,the students come from various parts of the country and beyond, there is no bias on the basis of politics or economic standards and every one is free to be themselves.
Hostel Facilities
I didn't not opt for hostel facility, hence I am not aware, I believe the infrastructure was good for the hostels but the food provided was not really nice. The girls hostel is very near to the college.
Alumni/Alumna
There are many alumni events now, but my interaction with alumini was minimum and hence was nice.the seniors I spoke with were extremely helpful and supportive.
Admission
There is a merit list put and if ur marks are above then you can go get the admission.Once the merit list is put up, you will have to go there as no online list were available atleast back then, you can start the admission procedure then by filling the form submitting it with either the entire fee for the year or the semester fee.
Faculty
15-20 lecturers per department and sometimes lesser, the average age being 30-40 years, the faculty was highly qualified, not sure of industrial certifications, but the faculty was dedicated and highly experienced in their domains and we're always ready to provide assistance.
