The Curriculum is the best for reviewing and revising the concepts. For the first year, there will be full of academic subjects and the second year is full of project work. The project work can be done in the college or by doing as an intern in any industry with reference through project guides.

Yes, placements are very good on the campus, but for my branch, the placements are not so good. The placement for other groups like cse,ece, eee, mechanical was very good.

I get into college by GATE entrance in mechanical stream. I got 450 scores. I got this college by spot round by the institute. After writing GATE the counseling will be there for NITs by COAPS, there will be 3 rounds followed by the National spot round and institute spot round.

There are around 20 faculty in our department i.e. department of metallurgical and materials engineering. The faculty are very well qualified with both Ph.D. and post-doctoral in foreign countries and with a minimum of 10 years of experience. The faculty is well versed and they are good at communication and friendly for interacting.
