Sahil Anand's Review On Orissa Engineering College - [OEC], Bhubaneswar

The college management has abdusted all the money of teachers which has been provided by the charitable trust.

At the time of our admission the whole course curriculam has been changed and a new course curriculum has been introduced with new courses and new technology base knowledges which is pretty much good but bad too as our faculty have some problem to teach the curriculum after reading himself the first.

At the time of our placement the college has taken the money for placement and training purpose but we hadnt been provided with any of this kind of drive. In the year 2019 only 2 companies participated in the campus recuitment in our college out of which 1 has been found to be fake.

Annual Fest divided into two parts Cultural Fest that is Zephyear and technical Fest that is called Zazen. Also there are Cricket Tournaments which has been organised within the campus in which year wise and Branch wise matches has been played. Similarily Kabaddi and Football matches has also been organised on the yearly basis.

Total fee of the College is very moderate. One can deposit cash on the college account no. In the Oriental bank of Commerce account and hence show the slip. Before the admission one can get all the fee breakup details by the college there is no hidden charges and misc charges to included by the college.Also there are multiple payment option such as DD/Cheque etc

No, I havent opted for any education load or any kind of scholarships. But at a average 30-40 % of fee has been considered to be rebate by scholarship.

The gender ratio was pretty good in my batch it was nearly 3:5 GIRLS:BOYS. there are differenet kind of societies present in the college to participate in which mainly comes into the action at the time any funtions only and are supported and funded by college.

In the hostels 3 students has been appointed in one room with a wifi router and 3 almirah in the room. The charges of hostel is very low and very durable too. The only thing to worry is that the hostel is very far away from the city approx 12 km

Yes the seniors are very helpful. Infact they are very friendly helpful, and open in nature, One can ask for any help or suggestion want to.

I appeared in the JEEMAINS exam and on the basis of the marks obtained in that exam i have been alloted this college with computer science and engineering as a branch paper in counselling of OJEE (Orissa JEE).My sessions started from July 2015 and ended on April 2019.

Number of faculties in our college is good but the knowledge and the proficiency of faculties in the terms of explaining the study material was very poor so it is better to try and improvise youself and dont be dependent on faculty in the terms of studies.
