The overview and the trip through LPU

Positive: Placements in our college is one of highest in Pune so that is the plus point, teaching also is the best here. Negative: Campus of our college is small. For example there only a basketball court where students play football.

The course our college comes under SPPU that is Savitri Bai Phule University which is one of the top most university all over Maharashtra. More than 100 college comes under that. So the course which I study is all related to IT industry which will be beneficial when you join a IT HUB or work in a IT company.

Yes there are many internship drive going in our college.Many companies like EQ technology comes for placement as well internship, for internship they give a stipend of 35k for 2 or 3 months. Selection process is based on competitive coding. Student who scores well and cleares hr interview gets the internship.

CULTURAL as well as technical events are celebrated in our college like INC(impetace and concepts), ADDICTION, CREDENZ, etc INC is technical event in which students from our college shiw case their technical knowledge by making a prototype of their project which can be helpful in industry. ADDICTION is college annual event where students take part in various dance, singing, acts its a huge event of 3 days.

Fee structure for general category is 95000/- For OBC( annual income < 1 lakh) is 50000/- For SC/ST( annual income < 1 lakh) is 2500/- And various scholarship drives provided by government are also there. Student can opt that for scholarships.

Yes as I come under OBC category so I opt for "post matric scholarship" which reduces my college fees to half. This scholarship is provided by Maharashtra government. There are various scholarship on MAHADBT website one can go there and opt for it.

Sports like Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Cricket, Badminton, and other indoor games are also provided. College gym is also there for fitness. Each and every student can access it. IEEE student branch is there. MUN club is there and many other clubs are also present in Pict.

I live in a PG(flat) with 5 other monthly rental is 18000/- College also provide hostel facility but seats are limited so it gets filled early. Rooms are decent with full security, 24/7 Watchmen facility and other sports facilities are also there.

Yes all teachers are helpful and after college hrs if you want to contact any teacher, number of teachers is also provided, student can contact them any time they want and teachers are very kind to help

I gave MH-CET exam which is competitive exam in Maharashtra just like jee/iit. The marks obtained from this exam is used to select college. Different colleges have different cut off marks for admission. For PICT cut off for IT was 143/150 and I got 145 so I got selected in IT branch of my college.

Faculty of our college is top qualified. They have proper communication skill as well as knowledge about the subject. They are best in what they teach. They give proper guidance to students and help them in many ways.
