It is government college so management is little lazy. But due to continue support by political leader in campus it working and improving.
Course Curriculum Overview
Cousrse, curriculum and exam evaluation are well define. For engineering particularly it is best than other university. Learning is not for only exam but also help to provide industry and day to day life. Almost 90% of student secured placement before completion of their course. Rest 10% are going for further study or business. Lots of industrial visit organised for students. Kadana dam, prefab casting, jyoti CNC etc industries and sites are visited during course work.
Placement Experience
Esaar steel India, Reliance, Adani, L&T, Jacob, Atlas copco, TCS, BPCL and 20+ compney visited for placement. Generally they follow following procedure. Written test - group discussion - interview. Mostly critrarea for placement is 60%. Institute also provide training old clear test and interview.
College Events
Umang cultural Paramarsh is a National Level Non-Technical fiesta organised annually by the students of The Maharaja Sayajirao University Of Vadodara. Footprint is technical fest organised by student in university. It is known for its robotics event in entire India.
Fee Structure And Facilities
college is government so it is not expensive. In my cousre it cost 7000 per anum it include library fees also. + 1000 rs for security deposite.it can accept online fees as well as offline via bank chhalan.for transperancy yes college provide proper breakdown of fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm not getting any scholarship through college but some of my friend get it scholarship every year. There is form circulated by administration at beginning of process and after collecting required doc. You can avil it easily
Campus Life
Campus life is not as attractive as private college. Gender ration is higher yes girl are more than boys in university. It is around 100:104. Politics is at best in the university. Every year election is happened and university general secretary is chosen by student.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I opted for hostel. Though it is government hostel so room condition is not good. It is sharing for Btech student and personal for M tech student. Rent is very cheap it is 9000 per annum. There are sufficient seat in hostel they have 14+ hostel in campus.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes senior are very helpful. Because of I used to live in hostel so I have more connection with senior. They are helpful on study as well as of study. Many senior are well settled. So they inspired us
Admission
I got admission through GATE exam. I'm in intesrested in thermal related area so I choose jet propulsion and gas turbine plant as branch. Institution is well recognised and no.1 government college in Gujarat so I go for it. For admission procedure need to fill form in ACPC when government give advertising in newspaper
Faculty
Faculty in MS university is well known researchers. Mostly have done pHD in their respective subject. Many of professor are very old age because they are serving from last few decades. Along with them young team also there.Many of professor have industrial experience and it help a lot for grooming engineer at its best.
