My college

The college is overall nice but I think it should dedicate some more facilities into the sports welfare also for the students.

The course is very much relevant and very precisely put together for the benefit of the students. As we all know that Pharmacy is one of the best job offering lines now a days. So the subjects are put together in such a way that you get to choose between a good number of jobs available and don't face any difficulties while working.

The placement portal is good because most of students get good amount of jobs and some even get more than one jobs in their hand after the placement. Good number of companies visit the college and provide jobs of various fields related to your subject.

Our college celebrates a number of events. Like each of the patriotic days are held very organizingly in our college in the presence of faculty and students. Besides tech fests, cultural events, national conferences are also held in our campus. Different puja festivals like Saraswati puja, Viswakarma puja are also celebrated at our college.

The fees structure is not at all expensive as I think. Just like all other private colleges, this one also has a total fee of just a little under 4 lakhs for total 4 years course for Bachelor of Pharmacy and it is instructed and looked over by the government also.

No, I haven't opted for any scholarship nor I availed any loans. But there are scholarships available for students from backward casts whose family income is not that much. They can apply for these scholarships from the West Bengal Government portal for scholarships.

The campus life is good and quite calm but still energetic. They have multiple labs for all the experiments to be done. The gender ratio is also balanced where there is good number both boys and girls students in the college. The college also participates in number of intra college tournaments also. The students are often seen playing in the campus grounds.

No I haven't, I live quite near to my college. The college has its own hostel just at a walking distance from college. You can opt for that but you have to fill an application form at the time of admission if you want to avail hostel facilities. The rooms are quite ok as I have heard and shred by 2 people for each room. As heard, you have to pay around 24k for each semester for accommodation and food both in total.

The alumni is located almost everywhere and are quite helpful as I have heard. They help you with guidance and often in selection of jobs.

I got admission through WBJEE exam which is the engineering entrance exam of our state government board. Then I did the counselling through the West Bengal Joint entrance board portal like everyone else and there I had to choose a number of colleges according the subject I liked to pursue and college I liked. Then based on my rank I got a college which I then took admission to.

The faculty is very well experienced and well educated. They are quite friendly with the students and help them with studies in every possible way they can. They are truly a philosopher, guide and a friend. They also help you if you are in trouble besides your study with guidance. They really lead the way for us and guide us through difficult situations.
