Remarks
No ragging is good remark and students are informed very late about some emergency decisions is bad remark
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes the course curriculum is research driven. Most of the subjects include writing research paper as a major component. And the good number of placements shows the relevance of course. Companies like amazon, vmware, sap, shell and many other comes to college for placement drives which offers a good role that is a good step in your career and also make you more professional
Placement Experience
Placements starts in july month after the 6th sem exams, and it runs in 2 phase 1st starts in 7th sem that is july and 2nd phase starts in 8th sem that is jan Common companies are amazon, shell, sap, vmware, intuit, sixt, hp, paypal, paytm, kpmg, tally, jpmc, morgan stanly, yahoo, ge healthcare and many others Online exams are taken by companies followed by interviews for placement In my branch and including ISE, ECE, EEE nearly 75%+ students get placed in eateemed companies while other have offers of 3 to 5 lpa We also have pre placements practice sessions for preparations
College Events
Each branch has its own tech fest and along with that we have udbhav as cultural fest Also IEEE organises diff fest and seminars in the college When it comes to how big it is I must say fest are not that attractive when compared with RV, BMSCE, Nitte etc as college authorities never shows interest and not much fund is given
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible as it is not much, nearly 2 lakh per year and mode of acceptance is dd, neft, online payment, rtgs For admission, some amount is paid during tje counselling that means your seat is reserved, remaining fee is to be submitted in college to take possesion of that seat College provides complete transparency in fee amd details can be collected from accounts section
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't avail scholarships but many are available for defence and karnataka local students on basis of economic status Details for it can be gathered at accounts section and are easy to avail
Campus Life
Gender ratio differs from branch to branch In mech it is exceptionally low where as in biotech, medical electronics, telecom it is very high (girls per boys) But diversity can be seen as students from all over india as well as other nations like nepal, quwait, dubai etc are there from all casts and religion Extra curricular activities are prominent part of college and diff clubs are there to handle them Labs are well equiped with latest machines IEEE organises tech competitions like robotics, hackathone etc
Hostel Facilities
I am not in hostel but can share some details about them There is diff hostel for freshers but have veey few room, can only accomodate nearly 150 students but for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year they have 2 hostels and plenty of rooms enough for 500 to 600 students They have single, double and triple sharing rooms But if someone didn't get room then no need to worry as pg amd hostels are easy to find near college
Alumni/Alumna
I don't see much interaction from alumni but seniors are of great help They share their experience related to subjects, faculties, fests, and other activities
Admission
As I am not from karnataka so for me to get this college, COMEDK is the exam. I don't remember the exact dates but form were open in feb and exam was in may It was online exam and I got 707 rank all india That time counselling was offline and I came here for it In 1st counselling I got cse branch in MSRIT I chose it because of prestigious name of college in karnataka and its good placements
Faculty
Each branch have a min no of 50 faculty and have a large no of experienced faculties I guess the avg age is nearly 35 where most of them have done Phd and rest are doing. As I know of my branch, we have faculties for every field like data science, web tech, algorithms, image processing, AI, cloud, IOT etc Many faculties have industry exp and have diff certificates from diff companies
