College Review

The curriculum is really good but the study is not up to the mark.

I mean as compared to the CBS in Mumbai the area of knowledge and skills they have in Raipur are nowhere near them though following the same curriculum. The semester exam questions are not much challenging and the students are much more indulged in PPTs and PDF rather than referring to other books. Only good thing is that many of the students get selected for internships at good institutes across the country.

There is no such thing as placement you have to do all your own. What you become or achieve is totally upon you.

We as a college has never celebrated any event as such because as a department of the university you are not allowed to have your own events Though defeating all the odds we as a student once celebrated Sci-fi which was not even a supportive one.

So this is the best one that describes our college. our college provides us with 5, 000rs scholarship per month, and the college fees are just mere i. e approx 11, 000 per year including hostel and tuition fees that can be paid only through challan in long lines within the university banks.

Yes, the college does provide a scholarship of rupees 5000 per month but you won't get it regularly often it takes months to get you your so-called scholarship.

Our college has almost equal no. of girls and we do have a good junior-senior relationship although we don't follow this relationship in our class. We do have class monitors but we don't have cultural societies or anything. Our college premises is completely out of the politics.

Yes. The hostel is pretty luxurious with 3 persons per room with common washrooms but the hostel won't feel like a hostel with so many restrictions and We have prefects in the hostel too strange who are supposed to support students but they are more of local newspaper boy for the hostel warden.

We don't have alumni since our first batch hasn't graduated yet they are in their last semester but the seniors are indeed very helpful.

As a second option not really intentional. Through an entrance exam called CBS-EST which is very easy, not much effort needed to crack it. After qualifying, you will have to go through a counseling session. It was my friend Mohit who suggested CBS who himself is enjoying his life in Ukraine doing MBBS.

This is the field where my college lacks a bit. Not all faculties are up to the mark not involving much practical knowledge mostly focused on getting marks only not concerned with the urge of learning. Many teachers not even take proper classes and previously the internal marks were mostly dependent on teachers and not on the student's performance.
