Like every coin has 2 sides One gets to see a lot of politics and hypocrisy in the student council and by the top management Although I am happy and satisfied with my choice not to go to a "better known" college

For a person genuinely interested in engineering, the course isnt difficult at all, it leaves you wanting for a better and more applicable syllabus as compared to the outdared syllabus by Mumbai University

College conducts a wide array of placement training which includes, aptittude tests, mock interviews for hr, Tech and other rounds They have a efficient placement cell and also have an Internship cell created recently which claims it will help maximum students get industry exposure.

There some events occurred in our college.like fresher's day program, national sports day, Independent day, The Gandhi Jayanti, environmental day, christmas celebration, new year celebration, college day, etc

The fee structure is regulated by the mumbai university thus it is nearly same as all colleges, witu the exception for KJ Somaiya which charges 50k extra per year for no valid reason, most of the reserved people come from well to do families and avail unnecessary scholarships which should be removed completely Only income based scholarship should be given that to after verifying

Only the standard government ones offered to unworthy people who are not fit for engineering Though if someone is really not able to pay the whole feees together they are allowed to pay in installments in special cases

Labs are up to the mark There is a whole building made for sports, though the lawn is not generally allowed to be used They scrictly follow the dresscode so one simply cant go and play for a while Pool table and ps4 are an attraction

Hostel infrastructure and facilities is not bad. Hostel rooms are very comfortable. Bathroom and toilet is not complete cleaned. 2000 rs wanted for the hostel Rent. Bathroom of the hostel is not comfortable. they have no proper door.

Alumni network is pretty strong Lot of ideas and guidance is offered Seniors do not mind helping and generally are quite polite and well informed They even visit the campus sometimes In the future we may observe internship or placement opportunities from the alumni

I got admission through the MHCET merit list I had got into Information Technology at KJ Somaiya Vidyavihar but preferred this college for EXTC, I opted for the college because of its infrastructure, excellent faculty and study material provided by them Along with a wide range of extra and co currricular activities

All teachers are well qualified, and almost everyone is interested in teaching and like to motivate students do experiment with projects. The university pattern doesnt allow much freedom but college supports quite well.
