Entrance Preview

I took AIEEE and scored 150 in it in 2012. I got a rank of 39k and with this rank it was the best college i could have got. Also,I got into Computer science which was the college's best branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college comes under University of Pune and follows the same curriculum.The faculty is decent.Different departments have accreditions from NBA,NAAC etc.It is mandatory in final year to write a paper and is a part of the syllabus.The curriculum is exciting.

Internships Opportunities

There are just a few companies coming for internship including Microsoft IT, Calsoft INc, Persistence, Commvault, Josh Softwares ,DRDO, Myntra ,There are students who got internships after applying outside.

Placement Experience

Placement is very good as around 90% of students get placed.Companies which visit include ZS Associates, Deloitte, Commvault, Josh Softwares, Symantec, PGS, Sapient, Saba Softwares, HSBC, TCS, L&T, Seclore, Oracle, OFSS ,Tata technologies,Nihilent are some of them.

College Events

There are numerous fests in the college. There is Aakriti,Sports Aakrtit ,Tech Aakriti, Solutions ,Pace, Amethyst and number of students participate in them.Aakriti is intra college festival and Solutions,Pace and Amethyst are intercollege festival. Many students in and around Pune come to these events for different competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As compared to other private colleges,the fees is quite less.It is around 1.5L for every financial year including hostel and mess. Its about 60k for hostel and mess and the rest for the academics.In other colleges in SRM,VIT or Manipal,the fees is around 3L per annum and its way cheaper than them and definitley there is a quality in education.

Fees and Financial Aid

AGIF Scholarship of Rs.40k is given to every 1 of 4 students in college. Also there are merit cum means scholarship of Rs 5k for students getting who are not able to get AGIF. Then there is PM Scholarship for children of retired personnel of 24k each.

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome.You spend the best 4 years of your life in this campus.Ample time for extracurricular activities is there. Different clubs are there including Robotics, Tehcnical, Cultural, OSS, Maths, Quiz, Music, Debate.Active participation is seen among the clubs by the students.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a portal for interation with the alumni of the college.Every year alumni meet is organised.There are many events and competitions sponsored by alumni.

Exam Structure

Exams are almost every 2 months. So its not very tough and its easy to score decent marks in exam(60% or more). Studies can be done even on the last day but you just need to know how to study. Friends help a lot during exam time,so just take help from your friends and exam will always be fun.

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Likes

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge and there is to much space for walk and greenari
Affordable price in cantin same we eat outside.
Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Ait pune: let's look after too it

I give jee mains and advance and got 95 %ile at this percentile this was the best college which I can get it has far better placement then other private colleges especially for girls it is too good .it has an average package of 14 lkh and highest package is 51 lkh last year in microsoft. it focus both on academic and other co circular activities. For admission in this college u have to apply for jee mains and then fill the form of ait which is out in Jan or Feb then on merit based u get your branch and seat.
