Remarks

Everything is good but when comes to lab exams faculty will screw us like anything based on our past activities. And I don't no what's the use of aphron for CSE students when lab sessions are going on.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

oh very very hectic. I don't remember resting on weekends or partying. we had minimum of 3 assignments everyday with 8 subjects to pay attention to. each subject demanded attention. film and print journalism demanding the most of our strength. the assignments weren't boring at all. it only helped my creativity and boredom go. I can only appreciate and be happy that I was blessed to be a part of this college

Placement Experience

4

out of 40, to my knowledge atleast 15 were placed. I was one of them. I got a chance to work with last wilderness foundation at a starting package of 35k pm. to my knowledge ndtv and times now came for placements along with many production companies.

College Events

4.5

we had TDB exhibition which remains the highlight till date. screening of 4 documentaries every year along with ad projects on different themes. a release of scm magazine which was a charm for readers and writers. also a wonderful photography exhibition which had photographers of scm displaying their talents which was snapped during educational excursion at places

Fee Structure And Facilities

it is feasible for the upper middle class to bear the costs of this course with hostel fee. I've had friends who've taken an educational loan just to get into the course which is worth every penny and minute. during my time the course fee was around 1 and a half lac. every penny was used on projects and different assignments given in classes.

Fees and Financial Aid

TDB does raise funds and support the financial needy students who deserve the seat. the hod Jeroo has always had a hand in initiating such stuff for lady candidates. College trust provide the scholarship to the student. Any one except from Open Category people can directly apply for this scholarship. The selection is based on the result of the students and overall Marks.

Campus Life

4

it is a sorted course for profeesionals who want to join the mainstream media. it keeps you on toes all the year and brings up the confidence that helps you reflect your strengths and weaknesses. I learned to read more and sleep less. moreover to work my ass off even when I didn't want to made me media ready to quite an extent

Hostel Facilities

4.5

the hostel facility is wonderful. becausey rooms. safe. next to a posh locality with sea overlooking from some sides of the hostel and the historically beautiful Sophia building which is a charm to every Mumbai person. I shared my room with two people comfortably and have made amazing memories in the room.

Alumni/Alumna

we are all connected as alumni of TDB through email group and whatsapp. we have had three alumni meets in the recent past which were a huge hit and a place to get along with our seniors and juniors. Senior student are very good. They help the students to complete the project that the teachers has given them. They also help to do the problem of mathematics. The Alumni of this college has reached some height in their career.

Admission

i took a common entrance test which was followed but gd and group discussions and personal interview. I fared well and stood 7th on the list. me being from a small town had low confidence but sailed through after a real scrutinising long interview.

Faculty

5

one of the most amazing profeesors I've had in my college life. the hod, Jeroo is a woman of substance. Jerry made us being realty and leave our feminine excuse making nature. nirmita taught us ads in a very interesting way. smruti was an eye opener while teaching us print journalism. sainath was wake up call to our fancy little bubbles we lived in.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum is Comprehensive, focused equally on Academics and Practical Exposure.. I chose because of that extra year of research I can choose to do in my final year (4th year) of graduation and I'll have an Hons. Degree at the end of 4th year of my college... Practical insights makes sure we are being trained to tackle practical world and academic knowledge ensures we are eligible to apply for further Education.. I will say more focus on Practical Exposure and a little extra focus on Sports May Take This Curriculum to a different level..

• The specific aspects of the curriculum are the subjects including in this course are related to the industry that will help students to build their career in this competitive world and I choose the course as I wanted to pursue a professional course after graduation. • The curriculum prepares us pretty well for real world applications as there are subjects like management that helps students to understand things very clearly and apply it in the real world. • The frequency and timing of exams is perfect and my perspective on the difficulty level is that the exams are not at all difficult.
