Very positive except hostels. College is very well excellent superb. Comming to hostels is a very poor one.

Yes good, good course. B.tech is the only course in this college. It is well known for its placement in every branch. Every month they conduct exams and they are strictly conducted. Labs are good. Being an old college it has the old building. now they are reconstructing.

Our college is well known for its placements. Many of the students prefer this college to others in Bangalore because of its placement history. 70% of the student gets placed every year in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, affordable. being a govt college fee is affordable by many people. Including the KCET fee of around 40 thousand per annum every year. No issues with a fee.

Campus Life

Politics is not supported by the college. The gender ratio is equal. Every week they conduct workshops based on technical technology which is helpful to many of the students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel infrastructure is one of the finest in the country. They are of three types: triple Or double shared or you will get single accommodation. Rather the rooms are quite big and are cleaned every week. The halls are well maintained too.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, seniors are very very good. They help each and every student of our college who are studying now. They always try to give better technical lectures in their leisure time to make the students better for their placements every year. Very good seniors.

Admission

I wrote Karnataka CET to get into this college. No payment seats in this college. Each and every student should get into this college through the entrance exam only. this is Karnataka's first college built-in 1917. This college is best in placement. This college has a very good history. Students of this college have spread throughout the world.

My plan is to work for 2 years and continue with higher studies and focus in research based area which increases the job security and salary

The Reality of Studying Here

Placement Experience:

from 6th Sem u are eligible to sit for the placement. A lot of companies come to the college i don't focus on company name my focus will be on the CTC and average is 4-5LPA and the highest package was 20LPA. but very less student get placed because they don't have proper technical skill and the one who have skills they are placed in our college. before getting a Degree i need a job from Campus Placement this is my plan after getting Degree let's see I haven't made any plans right now.

MVJ college of engineering has a good Placement record, for branches like CS and ECE The Placement activities are handled by Placement Cell, which begins preparing students from 6th semister through aptitude session, communication skills etc They maintain good score like 60% and above academic percentage the students are eligible for placement drive from 6th semister onwards At my time at college some 10 companies visited the campus Highest package from my batch is 5L per Annum Most placement are in roles like developer and Networking side for core branches they get opportunities in design, testing and maintenance roles Overall MVJ provides good placement opportunities

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . • I got my seat through KCET exam, so basically in my order priority UVCE was the 5th college and I knew that I'll not get the other 4 colleges because I knew my score, cutoffs of those colleges and my category reservations too well. Why I chose this college was simple, I knew for a fact that it was affordable. • Coming to the rejection part it was never like doorstep rejection it was just the feeling of shit-I-wanted-it. As they say, whatever happens it happens for something good, and now that I see how the colleges I happened to get are charging, I feel good for not getting in. • The admission process began when KEA website announced the 2nd rounds results of KCET and opened the admission portal. We had to pay fees to the KEA portal and generate a payment receipt/challan after that we'd recieve a admission order, then we had to go to the allotted college and show the admission order and go with our attested documents signed sealed and present it and tada admission done....Read More
