Remarks

This college is better than others because it has lots of extra curricular activities in it and it can give you international exposure also. They have tie up with international university like ntu, Canada university where you can go for a semester (6 months) and learn their courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

So the curriculum is good enough and the curriculum get updated every year by adding latest topics going in market and also as per industry demand. So for Every course subject we have lab once a week, theory lecture thrice a week and also for some core subjects we have research lab once a week. In every lab you get to learn new things of that subject and execute them. All the required resources are available. General College time is around 8-2 and all things of particular subjects are covered. In every semester we have one subjective mid semester and end semester examination and during end semester there is one Course project submission, assignment submission and viva for every subject.

Placement Experience

5

So placement and job are good enough and you get lots of opportunity. Yes our college provides students with six month long internship and many big companies like Nvidia, VMware, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Symantec, Siemens, Barclays and many more comes for internship placement. The minimum stipend is 20k to maximum of 75k. The average is around 30k which is good enough. And some students get PPO( one who gets converted from intern to employee) from all of this company. Similarly placement are also good and along with above mentioned companies like avaya, cgate, Veritas, Finiq, HSBC, Amazon, Accolite, Deloitte, Infosys, Accenture comes for placement. The average package is around 8Lacs and highest with 25lacs. There are some companies which gives us on site means out of India to Japan, Germany. You get 3-4 such companies if you want to explore at international levels. So basically every company takes aptitude test sometimes group discussion and then personal interview. ( 2-5 rounds depends on company). The only thing you need to crack any company is just hold on basic core concepts and you will get in.

College Events

4.5

So, there are lots of event happening throughout the year. The very first is intra College event Vishwakarandak. It's an intra department event in which all different course students compete and the one with highest point wins the competition. The event is around 4 days with technical such as coding, cultural such as dancing, face painting, singing, drama, gaming competitions. The second event is inter college event Melange. This is the biggest event of the year. It takes place around 4 days consists of technical, cultural activities. Also concerts and stand up comedy events are arranged during melange. The third event is traditional day where everyone wears traditional dress, western day wearing western clothes and character day where everyone attire resemble with their favourite character. Some coding competition keep going on throughout the year arranged by coding club. Some mechanical guys arrange their car racing competition events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is feasible. It's around 1. 4lacs per year. The 1. 4 Lacs breakdown consists of tution fees, resources fees, management fees, exam fees. There are many scholarship such as EWS scholarship, TFWS scholarship through which you can get concession.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are different scholarship such as EWS scholarship, TFWS scholarship. In ews scholarship you family annual should be less than 8 lacs. In this almost 50% of your fees get back to you. In TFWS your tution fees gets off and hence you need to pay at maximum 20k as your fees per year. For this you need to apply for tfws seat of that particular course during admission process and if your get selected then you will get that tfws seat. The condition for tfws is your family income should be less than 6 Lacs. College doesn't provide any Loan facility. But it you want loan you can get to bank for student loan referenced by college itself. So chances of getting loan gets higher.

Campus Life

4.5

So in college their is a student committee guided by Dean of extra curricular activities department. This committee handles all the events of the year. So you can get into this committee and as everywhere else here is also a little bit of politics takes place but that's manageable. At state national level students go to play sports and is well supported by college. The gender ratio is round 3:1, 3 for male and 1 for female in every Field as their are less female as compared to make. All religions students are welcome and their is no caste discrimination. Everyone is treated equally. According to economic status you will get rich as well as poor People but all are well behaved. Some parties takes places during college events like retro nights, dj nights and many more. There are different clubs like entrepreneurship club, the robotic forum club, speaker club where you can participate and weekly sessions take place and events also.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The College doesn't have its own hostel but a third party manages a hostel where only vishwakarma students are allowed to stay ( balaji boys hostel, sukhsagar). The seats are limited and are on first come first serve basis. The cost is Around 80k consisting of breakfast, dinner, WiFi, TV and your accomodation. The rooms are good and cleaned. Other than this hostel their are other hostels also but they are not as such good to live. PG are also available nearby college area at affordable rate of around 35k( only accomodation). If their are 4-5 students, then they can also opt for 1bhk, 2bhk flats on rent having rent around 11k-12k. There are lots of food shop around here for lunch and dinner at affordable rates.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students helps as much as they can be. Ragging is strictly prohibited by anyone in college and doesn't take place at all. And incase if anyone found out then proper action are taken against him. Apart from this you can get help from senior for your curriculum or for any event management. Alumin network is very strong. Their is one college portal of alumni where you can see all the alumni and can get in contact with them if you want. Every year their is one alumni meet happening in December. All alumina comes up and let us know latest industry demand and we have good time together.

Admission

I got admission through entrance exam (Jee Mains). I fill college choice filling. Where they provided me this college on the basis of my jee scored. Apart from that they provided a date for admission and documents verification in college. And then they gave admission.

Faculty

4.5

So some faculty have designation of assistant profeesor and some are senior profeesor. Almost all the faculties are well educated and are aware of there job properly. Every faculty is interested to teach students new things and help them achieve their goals. Some faculty also help you in personal if you want them to. Also some faculty helps you in your career guidance if you are not sure about your future. They let us know the latest industry demand and teaches us according to that. Some are even PhD, double PhD and you can learn lot of things under them. Every faculty comes with presentation in theory lecture and let us do problem solving of real life example. In lab they teaches us how to do problem solving using coding. So we are well satisfied.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.
