Very good faculty to student ratio. Most of the time we find ourselves doing some projects, so practical knowledge of students here is awesome. If someone from E.E. wants to get placed in a software company he can sit for their placements session too. Placements are good here.

The first placement session is about to happen this year. One of the benefits of being an IITian is that alumni from other IITs will also help you. The college supports you in every way during placements. E-cell IIT Jammu is very focused on startups and entrepreneurship.

Technical Fest - Technunctus Cultural fest - Renao ( J&K largest fest ) Our CS Assignment submission website is created by students here. Technunctus and Renao websites are up with a record number of students participating from other colleges. The library here focuses on quality rather than quantity. Classrooms are equipped with all modern equipment which is required in classrooms. Study rooms for studying. Mechanical & Electrical labs capable of building huge projects. Large amounts of Restaurant near campus makes your life a little easy. Our campus is very close to IIM Jammu. There is going to be an AIIMS in Vijaypur which is in Jammu. Infrastructure is top-notch here I can bet we have better infrastructure than most of the expensive private-colleges. Our campus is very near to tourist destinations like - Patnitop, Dalhousie.

We all know hostels are as important as academics areas. Here hostels are perfect you can' complain about anything. Furniture quality is amazing. The bathrooms are clean and in perfect shape. Amazing facilities for sports - Gardens for relaxing, Football ground, Basketball court, badminton court, volleyball court, cricket practice area. Every Sunday you can find cricket rivals playing matches with each other. Hostels are the best part of IIT Jammu.
