UPSEE . I chose the college over other depending on the colseness to my hometown and also the college had a very good reputation for the placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The course was directed towards learning on electrical machines and transformers. But, as I switched to IT in my career the knowlegde was never utilized by me.
Internships Opportunities
No stipend was offered during internship and was mostly arranged by the students.The internships were mostly in government organization as the private ones were not accepetd.Students were required to give a presentation on their internships.
Placement Experience
Almost 100% placement in 2011. Infosys, Syntel and Wipro were the mass recruiters.Some other companies were Samsung, Dell, Alcatel, Tech Mahindra, Lohia Motors, Semag, HCL, Accenture.
College Events
Tech Trishna the tech fest was an inter college event which had events from all branches. Vibrations Cultural event, this was an intra college event basically between branches.Saksham sports event, also an intra college event between years and branches.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible fee structure. Was the minimal in all reputed private colleges. I paid around 80k for first year and 1 lakh for the other three respectively. Now the fees is around 1.5 lakhs per year including the hostel and mess.
Fees and Financial Aid
No Was provided by UP government at that time. Scholarship was based on parents income and caste and quotes and was never entertained by the college, the students themsleves applied for it.The toppers were awarded with money for books and other things.
Exam Structure
33% internal and 67% external.The internal was divided into 2 sessionals and pre-finals whereas external was a finals.
Faculty
Most faculty were retired military officers in administration.The teaching faculty was either retired government officers or PhD teachers. Electrical faculty was a bit different with mostly full-time teachers, who left their specific jobs for teaching.
