My college life

It's a wonderful journey to spent and learn during my academic session in OEC college. Teachers were very helpful and they guided alot to achieve my goal. Even after completion of my course in college they were guiding to choose a right path for my carrier.

It has 4 year course with 8 semester exam. Course is very good in term of knowledge and lab. Most of the time its a chilled session except during the exam. Lab session is also useful and informative.

Placement was good. Me and my 80% batchment were placed in good company like TCS, CSC etc. There were on-campus and off-campus placement scheduled. there is no internship facility provided in college.

There were yearly feast which include technical and cultural events. We had invited mika singh, aryan band for our college annual function between 2008-2012. We had also celebrated other festival like Holi, Diwali and Durga puja etc.

Fee structure are feasible as per the course and there duration. As per my knowledge it's 100000 Rs per annum for now. It was 70000 Rs per year during my tenure in 2008-2012 for B-Tech. It also include the transportation.

I have not taken any loan from college and don't have much idea about this but some of my friend had taken loan and paid that before completion of course. College has also provided flexible time to pay the fee.

College has there own playground for cricket and football. every year we were organizing annual sports competition for cricket, football, badminton and other sports. Also for indoor game like table tennis, carom etc. Also we had organized tech feast with cultural feast yearly.

I was in Hostel for one year and it costs around 40000 with fooding. It was a shared room. Infrasture of the hostel os very good. It is a 3rd floor multi wings campus with all facility like bed, table chair, washrooms, hall and playing ground. You must be enjoy to leave there.

We have a good alumni portal. As this is the oldest college in odisha we have a very big alumni group. Off course it's very helpful in many situation. It is very helpful and senior are very helpful to guide.

I got into the college through the Kerala university admission portal. They compares our marks with other applicants and give us an offer letter from any of our preferred college. There is four allotments and 3 supplimentry allotments. I got into the college after the 3 allotment.

Faculty are very knowlegable and supportive. they all are highly qualify to give a right direction to us. They were good in teaching as well in practical session. They were always ready to guide us and that was the reason for our success.
