Remarks

The college overall aspects are good but the class Time should begin in 9am instead of 8am and the library should buy some new edition books and some of the infrastructure should be developed that is must to support the advance in the technology

Course Curriculum Overview

The mechanical course curriculum in our college is good but it can be better it is has lack of some practical learning it is getting better day by day we can indulge in many extra curricular activities that will improve the techi knowledge

Placement Experience

The placements are much better when compared to other private colleges. Yes, the college does provide internships but it is very difficult to get internships through college. But if you get through internship the stipend is around 30k-50k.

College Events

Our college summery fest Halcyon is the best celebrated in the college and every department or branch has there own branch fest which will be celebrated by that department it has spandana the cultural fest of our college

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive for non Karnataka students they have to pay 2 lakhs if they clear comedk or it will be more expensive for karny students who has got the seat through CET Exam it will be less expensive approximate 80000 or expensive if they got from management seat

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't availed any scholarship form college but ther are some scholarship are offered by the college on merit basis but we can apply for government scholarship available for different caste people

Campus Life

The Extracurricular activitys like sports, workshop, labs are good and encouraged in the college I my self has served as volteer in may college program and many students have achieved at state and national level sports by receiveing many awards

Hostel Facilities

60000 or more per year or there are separate hostels for different year students for girls it is out of the campus and for boys hostels are in campus the college rooms are well maintained and the environment in the hostel is friendly

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

I didn't got many contact from senior or alumni students but senior student contact are helpful in the present if you are in the college and it is helpful in contacting for getting advice on acedmics

Admission

I had written the CET Exam upon receiving the Ranking in exam I have entered the options for Getting admission to the college that in that I preferred to get the mechanical course I had given the first preference to it accordingly to the cutoff ranking I got the admission order

Faculty

There some very good faculty's are available whose has done PhD in some of the well versed subject, some of the facultys are very friendly and guides the students in a write way and providing technical support to students

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here. If the student is coming through Management seat then he has a different procedure. - There is no particular eligibilty criteria for admission in here, just one thing matter is the students rank which must be below the cutoff mentioned by the college. - The exam most preferred by the students is KCET, whose cutoff varies as per the branch they want admission for....Read More
