The college lacks a indoor stadium for badmintom, basketball, etc. also the location of college is out of the city which makes traveling by public transport more expensive ( when not opted for college provided bus facility)

1) college follows regular SPPU curriculum. the courses ( subjects ) are well aggranged in group of 5 or 6 with increasing depth of knowledge ( from basics to industrial level) 2) these college has sufficient labs and workshop equipment to give a practical exposure to its students. 3) Exam takes places in semester pattern, each semester consisting of 5 to 6 months. during the semester a unit test (insem exam ) is conducted which contributes to 20% of marks in end sem exam. 4) apart from first year, where the load of assignments and workshops is more the following years have a plenty of time to do internships, extracurricular practices, sports, etc.

The Training and placement has been working realy well at the college, the students are trained to face the situations of interview right from second year ( which includes group discussions, C V making, Dummy interviews, etc) A dozen of companies have tie-ups with the college and arrange a placement drive every year. around 80% of students have a sucess in getting placed at good companies ( Roughly ) The training and placement cell also provides opportunities for students from second and third year to get internship in relevant fields. the websites like internshala have a active lookup on college and provide internship to nearly half the students in each vacations

Freshers day - which has a full set of cultural as well as fun events for freshers to get more involved into the college 2. annual sports - which has more that 10 indoor and 5 out door sports competation. the annual sports is treated as intra-departmental competation in which at the end of year one class of any department wins the class of the year trophy 3 annual cultural fest - a week long cultural fest for college students as well as inter college competations. last days is kept as DJ night ( concert) 4 national paper presentation / project competation - conducted each year under IShrAE cell. about 150 participants were present in these competation in 2018-19 acadamic year

total annual fees is 67000 (might change a little bit every year) however government provides scholarship to obs/sc/st cast students thus they have to pay only half the fees (?35000) the open students with low family income also get the scholarships and their fees is also ?35000 roughly

DBT Scholarships provided by indian govt are available at this campus. they provide 50% of the total fees to the students with annual family income less than 8 lacs. college also accepts the fees in instalments for the exceptional casses ( on request)

gender ratio 75-25 ( B vs G) for mechanical engineering which not so good. however the other departments have around 50-50 ratio with each batch of 400 students including all departments. there are lots socities which student can part of such as Cultural commite, MESA, sports commite, IShrAE, GO-KART CLUB, CODING CLUB, etc. students are mostly from maharastra state and mainly from pune and mumbai. however the groups are very friendly and also accomodate the outsiders quite easily. there is no racism or any Ragging case seen in last few years.

hostel is present in the institute building itself ( top floor ), annual package is ?76000 including food and rooms. 24x7 power supply, hot water, free wifi, security, etc are some key features they provide there are lots of PG's available within the short range of college which cost a little less, about ?55000 to ?650000 annualy. the college also has hostels in katraj, pune which is loacted in centre of pune city but they have a slight higher charges (?90000+) /annum

Alumnis have good contacts with the current students and also participate actively into arranging some help when they are called for. seniors are friendly as well and allow the 3rd year and 2nd year students to take the lead in event organising.

The faculties at BVCOE have very good knowledge about the perticular courses they teach, apart from that they also are very intrested in teaching other non technical skill which are necessary for surviving the corporate industries. Every Faculty at this college has atlest a masters degree in relevant field and has a prior experience of atlest 5 years in teching field. The profeesors are always supportive and motivate to undertake projects, research papers and to participate in inter-college technical competations
